Unique – Timeless – Glamorous
Whenever I meet a rider, I am blown away by the sheer amount of passion and dedication they have for their sport. I thought a dog was a man’s best friend, but I am pretty sure they didn’t get the memo about horses! The equine world is a photographer’s dream — beautiful expansive landscapes, tall grass, barns with tons of character — but my favourite part about equestrian portraits is capturing the relationship the rider has with their horse. There is absolutely nothing like it. And now, I want to offer a photography session that reflects that.
Every serious rider has a stack of action, with sweat beading down their face on a hot summer day and grimacing with their “game face.” What happened to elegance? Poise? Style? Now is the opportunity to capture the spirit of the sport as it is meant to be, and to tell the story of the hard work, dedication, and style of being an equestrian!
How it’s done…
The session starts with a farm/stable call for your personalized lifestyle portrait shoot. From the fields to the barn, we’ll incorporate all of the elements that are unique to your riding experience. We’ll discuss the various wardrobe options, chosen to reflect your style. When your shoot is complete, we will make an appointment to go through the images together and to select the photos you love.
