Yesterday afternoon, I went out to White Rock to visit dressage trainer Burgi Rommel. She is so absolutely talented and experienced as a trainer and has a genuine and wonderful connection to both her horses and her students. While she claims she doesn’t have a “main squeeze” (an equine one, at least), the two horses we photographed her with are Beauty (‘black beauty’) and Beauty’s son, Bacchus.
