Le sigh!
I’ve loved Lady Gaga for a while now and I’m glad she finally came back to Vancouver. She played at the Commodore last year but unfortunately I didn’t get to go. This past month she played three shows here at the Queen E theatre and my friend was nice enough to take me along to her show
She is, hands down, one of the most talented pop performers out there. It was very refreshing to see someone actually sing the songs they write; she can sing, dance, and work the crowd. Plus she can work those outfits!! Amazing. We sat second row, center, and as you can tell from my pics – we were very up-close and personal!
All of these photos were taken on my Canon G9. It’s bulkier than most point-and-shoots, but it has consistently been a PHENOMENAL companion to both social events and concerts – the zoom is fantastic and I would never give up such manual control. I’d like to get a slimmer version now that a few new versions have come out, but the G9 is a real trooper. Plus, it has survived many beatings from the inside of my purse!
Oh, and surprise at the end of the pics…

And then after the show… WE GOT TO MEET HER!!!!!!![]()
(note that our heads are touching – that must mean we are BFFS…)
